Purpose of Summer School:
RECOVERY: Summer school is a remediation/recovery option for students who earned a D/F grade in available courses (A-G courses), from Quarter 1-4.
CCTE Courses: like internship or auto shop courses
Questions about these CCTE courses should be directed at SDUSD CCTE Office
*Students can chose ONLY ONE SS Program (Recovery, or CCTE). Students cannot take CCTE courses and recovery at the same time for example. *
Enrollment: Students may visit their school's counselor for guidance and enrollment.
*Clairemont has an online registration system open for all students UNTIL May 1st. Students wanting to sign up at other school sites need to GO/contact the other school site.

In person: Clairemont High will be hosting summer school on our campus. In-Person is ONLY for Recovery.
- Students can recover a maximum of 4 available courses in person
- If there is an online option - maximum of 2 available courses

SDUSD does not allow students who are receiving a remediated credit to miss more than 2 days. Because the summer program is condensed, seat time is critical and absences beyond two days are not allowed or permitted.
Summer School Staff differs than regular school year staff. Please reach out to the school site to direct you to the right person with your question/concern.
