College, Career Technical Education (CCTE) courses are offered in 15 industry sectors tied to local economic and workforce needs. CCTE is comprised of a sequence of courses—exploratory, foundation, intermediate and advanced. These courses provide high school students with skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary/college education, entry-level employment and career advancement. The instructional integration of academic and workplace skills provides career awareness and exploration, including internship opportunities. Over 60 CCTE courses are approved for UC "A-G" college entrance credit.
